At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that enhances quality of life. We seek an Associate Sales Representative (ASR) for our Orthopaedics-Reconstruction team in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for impacting health and well-being, a drive to excel, and the ability to build strong relationships with surgeons and hospital staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling operative cases and securing inventory for those cases.
- Observe and consult the surgical team on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants.
- Complete logistical requirements associated with surgical cases.
- Build rapport with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital staff, and colleagues to enhance access to customers.
- Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide data-driven, trusted solutions to customers.
- Work untraditional hours to support the salesforce and customers.
- Provide technical support to ensure product availability meets customer and patient needs.
- Participate in discovering and pursuing sales opportunities with Smith+Nephew Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience.
- A valid driver's license for the current residence.
Qualifications
- Ability to assimilate and learn a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with surgeons, KOLs, hospital staff, and co-workers.
- Self-motivation and a results-driven approach to achieving sales goals.
- Resourcefulness and dedication to becoming proficient in joint reconstruction.
