Responsibilities & Expectations
- We are seeking to hire an Electrical Reconditioning Technician who can be trained to rebuild starters and work on motor control center layouts and spray paint electrical enclosures.
- Work with electrical components to rebuild, paint, and certify for re-deployment.
- Paint electrical enclosures using a spray gun in a paint booth.
- Wear required PPE, including a half face respirator for spray painting.
- Participate in the following certifications: Pearl Level I and II, Forklift training, 15+ TSC Electrical Training Classes (completed within one year of hire date), MSHA training, 10-30-hour OSHA card, PPE Qualifications and Competencies.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight.
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to perform manual labor for up to 12 or more hours per day.
- Acute hearing and strong field of vision.
- Ability to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions.
Qualifications and Competencies
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- MUST be able to pass a respirator fit test.
- Ability to work 2nd shift.
- General understanding and firsthand experience with safe work environments.
- Must be comfortable with machinery and have mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Be able to read, interpret, and modify documents.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an excellent driving record.
