Role Responsibilities

• Log and track vehicle deliveries and inventory to maintain accurate records
• Move and stage vehicles across the lot for optimal customer viewing
• Ensure a clean, welcoming environment that reflects CarMax's commitment to excellence
• Perform reconditioning tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and detailing vehicles to meet quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Learn and apply best practices in automotive care and inventory management
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area

Required Qualifications

• High level of motivation and a strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Pay

$18.50 - $20.20 hourly

Benefits

Full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year (accrued per pay period) and between 80 and 200 hours of vacation time per year after a 90-day waiting period, depending on years of service. Associates receive 8 hours of pay for each of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday; holiday premium pay applies if work is required on a scheduled holiday. Full-time salaried associates receive paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc., subject to manager approval.
