Reconciliations Manager

About the role

The Reconciliation Manager is responsible for leading balance sheet integrity and overseeing subledger-to-general ledger governance across multiple operating entities. This role plays a key part in driving an efficient five-day month-end close while ensuring financial accuracy and consistency within a multi-entity environment utilizing Infor M3 ERP and Trintech reconciliation automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process across all FSC Group entities
  • Manage AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, intercompany, and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure subledger-to-GL integrity within Infor M3
  • Lead and administer account reconciliation workflows within Trintech (Adra or similar)
  • Drive resolution of reconciling items within 30 days
  • Implement standardized reconciliation templates and certification controls
  • Support audit readiness and documentation requirements
  • Partner with G/L Manager and Reporting Manager to ensure clean close handoffs
  • Develop reconciliation KPIs and exception reporting dashboards
  • Manage a staff of 2-3 accountants

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior Management experience preferred
  • Direct experience with Trintech (Adra or related reconciliation platforms)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Subledger-to-GL integration
    • Inventory valuation reconciliation
    • Intercompany eliminations
    • Accrual accounting and cutoff discipline
