About the role

Providence Community Housing is a 501(c)3 nonprofit affordable housing developer and property manager serving the Greater New Orleans area. We are currently seeking a full-time Recertification II to join our team, specifically focused on working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Resident recertification processing, paperwork, and inspections
• Irregular updates to tenant information as needed
• Assisting with various repair and replacement requisitions
• Move in and move out proceedings
• Voucher rent coordination
• Coordinate apartment inspections for recertification
• Maintain accurate and timely statistical records and reports pertaining to HUD, PCH, and to the residents

Requirements

• One or more years experience in leading and occupancy functions, property management, or loan processing with HUD program guidelines
• Knowledge of HUD policies and procedures governing subsidized elderly housing and recertification
• Experience working with the elderly, nonprofit, or property management experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Passion for working with seniors and creating a positive, supportive environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using computers and property management software
• Reliable, adaptable, and ready to handle occasional on-call responsibilities

Schedule

This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday.
