Receptionist (PT)
Responsibilities
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors and patients, answering the switchboard, managing mail, documenting incoming deliveries, and providing clerical support as assigned. Assists in the facilitation of safety and security initiatives including announcing codes, assuring visitor sign-in/out, reviewing and documenting patient belongings, and identifying escalation issues in the reception area.

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a team approach that treats patients with dignity and respect, while delivering high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years receptionist secretarial required. One (1) year experience in the health care field preferred.
- Must have a pleasant voice and excellent telephone manners.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must have the ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously and must be able to deal professionally and diplomatically with all staff and the general public.
- Must have the ability to utilize confidentiality and tact in the disposition of daily and assigned projects and all other facets of the position.

Schedule
Wednesday- Friday: 2PM - 8 PM & Rotating Saturday: 9AM - 6 PM Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations: Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
