Receptionist (PRN)
Answer multi-line phone, transfer calls to proper individuals
Monitor fire alarm system and the facility cameras.
Assist residents, resident’s family members, guests and visitors
Sell meal tickets to guest, family members and facility employees
Work with vending machine representative to receive refunds and disperse refunds
Recordkeeping
- Make initial record of cash received for employee meals
- Keep a daily log of activity going on for shift being worked
- Give or receive report from guard or coworker
- Receive daily mail
- Log all medication into the Pharmacy logbook and call the units to come pick it up and sign the medication release
- Handle all vending machine transactions
- Record all reimbursements and communicate vending issues to supervisor

Requirements
- Basic computer experience
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of front desk operations
- Knowledge of basic office practices
- Knowledge of customer service standards in a healthcare or long-term care environment
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and visitor protocols within a skilled nursing facility
