Receptionist - Front Desk - part time

As the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, you will be the welcoming face and reassuring voice of our hospital. Your warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail will help set the tone for a positive care experience. You'll play a vital role in ensuring that patients feel seen, heard, and supported from the moment they arrive. What You'll Do Greet patients, visitors, and staff with empathy and professionalism, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphereAnswer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information and routing inquiries to the right departmentsManage patient check-in, ensuring all forms and documentation are completed accuratelySupport clinical and administrative teams with clerical tasks, such as scanning, filing, and data entryReceives, sorts and forwards, incoming mail. Assists with other related clerical duties for other departmentsMaintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policiesSchedule is Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am - 8:00pm Requirements High school degree or GED required. Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk associate, or administrative assistant—healthcare or behavioral health experience preferredStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with empathy and clarityProficiency with office software and electronic health record (EHR) systemsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, even in fast-paced or emotionally charged situationsA commitment to patient privacy, dignity, and respectExcellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
