Receptionist- Evening

About the Role

We are looking for a professional and presentable receptionist to be the face of our dealership! This is an evening position from 3-8 as well as weekends. THE PERSON ACCEPTED INTO THIS ROLE IS IN CHARGE OF FIRST IMPRESSIONS WHETHER IT BE IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE! WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE PLEASENT,CHEERFUL, WELL GROOMED AND DRESSED.

Responsibilities

• NO TWO DAYS WILL EVER BE THE SAME. IT IS VERY FAST PACED WITH LOTS OF ADMINISTRATIVE WORK FOR SLOW DAYS
• Greet every Customer with a cheeful greeting
• Operate switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires
• Prepare sales gas tickets for the accounting department
• Serve as a cashier
• Assist the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
• Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price.
• Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication.
• Be the eyes and ears on the floor for the sales manager while running the up system.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
