About the role
Texas Truck Center is a family-owned business established in 1988. We specialize in hard-to-find trucks and equipment, aiming to build long-term partnerships with our customers both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and perform front desk duties including switchboard operations
- Perform preliminary customer interviews with prospects
- Manage inventory administration and maintain customer relations database
- Complete tasks, make phone calls, link quotes, set follow-ups, and monitor daily Google logs
- Generate temporary buyer tags, upload truck photos, enter specifications, and scan documents to be saved in the cloud
- Coordinate transportation and support the sales and administrative staff
- Support the service department with parts sales, billing, open and close repair orders, and coordinate warranty work and vendor repairs
- Assist with miscellaneous administrative functions and marketing efforts
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management and ability to prioritize workloads
- A positive and attentive attitude, open and honest communication style, high initiative, and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Maturity to work autonomously and good attendance/punctuality
