About the role
We are looking for a Bilingual Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for a busy office in Texas. This is a contract position offering hands-on administrative and customer-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and at least 1 year of experience handling office support tasks. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys creating an organized, welcoming experience for visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and take accurate messages when needed.
- Welcome visitors, employees, and vendors in a courteous manner while maintaining an organized front office environment.
- Coordinate calendars and arrange appointments to support smooth daily office scheduling.
- Prepare, send, and respond to routine email communication with clear and timely follow-through.
- Enter, update, and maintain office information accurately across internal records and administrative documents.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files so information is easy to access and properly stored.
- Provide general administrative support using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to complete day-to-day office tasks.
- Deliver attentive customer service by addressing questions promptly and helping resolve routine front-desk issues.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented and approachable demeanor.
- Experience with data entry and the ability to maintain accurate records with close attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage email correspondence and appointment scheduling efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain orderly filing systems and handle multiple priorities.
