ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answer, screen, and direct calls professionally.
- Makes visitors welcome.
- Files and maintains records, copies documents, and schedules meetings.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail, deliveries, faxes, and other communications; facilitates the dispersal of outgoing communications.
- E-mails important announcements to other staff members as directed by the Office Manager.
- Assists with light overflow of revising legal documents.
- Aids Legal Assistants with producing and disseminating mass mailings.
- Manages office calendar.
- Assists Records Clerk with indexing.
- Prepares check requests.
- Sets up and tests video and computer equipment for meetings.
- Secures meeting space both inside and outside the office.
- Makes reservations for business lunches or orders in.
- Cleans up meeting rooms after use.
- Tests video and computer equipment and assists with set-up of video meetings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Precise attention to detail.
- Good organization skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Strong clerical skills: filing, data entry, basic math calculations, and IT acumen.
- Writing and proofreading skills.
- Some knowledge of legal terms preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years’ previous experience in a fast-paced legal or corporate environment.
- Experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or receptionist.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $72,000 annually.
