Receptionist

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for the front desk when needed
  • Assist manager and Executive Assistant with filing, scanning, other tasks as needed
  • Answer in-coming phone calls, take messages and direct them to the appropriate persons
  • Welcome and greet all customers visiting the work site
  • Distribute department/program mail daily in a timely manner
  • Run a variety of errands including delivering incoming packages
  • Perform additional duties as required by manager
  • Qualifications

    • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required
    • Engaging personality and detailed orientated skills are essential
    • Strong oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills are necessary
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other standard business technology is required

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods
    • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
    • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time
    • Ability to climb five flights of stairs, if required to conduct fieldwork
    • Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents
