About the role
The Academy is seeking a temporary Reception Teacher with Early Years experience to join the thriving EYFS Unit and cover the maternity leave of a part‑time class teacher. The role supports positive outcomes for pupils, staff, families, and the wider community, aligning with the school’s Christian ethos.
Requirements
- Passion for working with the youngest children
- Thorough knowledge of teaching and assessment practices in EYFS
- High expectations of pupil behaviour, self, and children in care
- Ability to challenge learners at all levels
- Experience working with pupils with SEND and EAL
- Commitment to making a difference and raising aspirations
- Good understanding of how data can be used to improve progress and standards
- Effective organisational skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the school community

Schedule
