Entry-level position that assists in all functions of receiving and scrap bay.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks of scrap metal and raw material
- Assist in coordination of receiving activities
- Unload shipments of parts and supplies
- Sort incoming scrap metal
- Perform routine inventories of products
- Make critical decisions
Requirements
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Possess a self-starter quality for seeking input and details from resources
- Solid mechanical aptitude and a desire to problem solve
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Good math skills, as well as oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Willingness to work in cold/hot outside conditions as well as hot inside conditions
