About the Role

The Receiving and Supply Inventory Specialist is responsible for precise counts and documentation of receiving goods, transfers, shipping and deliveries, monitoring inventory levels, inventory reporting, re-stocking, filling supply requests for departments, and posting receipt transactions in SAP (ERP system). The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, quality and precision-focused, outcome-oriented, people-oriented, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments against purchase orders in ERP system, confirm, offload, and log all inbound shipments, noting damages/shortages immediately upon arrival.
  • Confirm, pull, and deliver inventory requests and counts, logging daily requests in the ERP system from internal departments and other company locations. Accuracy and consistency are essential.
  • Inform departments when their orders have arrived, are back-ordered, or shipped, and place materials in designated inventory in a well-organized manner.
  • Notify Purchasing when stock levels of items run low, not out.
  • Work from two locations, with occasional regional pickup and deliveries.

Requirements

  • Consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Consistent, clear, and timely communication.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in data entry.
  • Prior experience working with an ERP system.
  • Warehouse shipping and receiving experience.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proactive and self-starter.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
  • Safe operation of manual and electric pallet jack.
  • Safe operation of forklift and certification a plus.
  • Clean driving record; will be driving between two warehouse locations daily.

Mental/Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in warehouse and greenhouse conditions with high humidity, varying temperatures, and moisture.
  • Ability to exert up to 15–100+ pounds routinely and/or occasionally to lift and move products.
  • Ability to balance, reach, and grasp while climbing on a step stool and/or ladder.
  • Ability to crouch, grasp, and lift product above shoulders to properly lift product from the floor.
  • Ability to be on feet continuously while performing job responsibilities.

Schedule

Tuesday through Saturday weekly schedule, with a minimum 40-hour work week.
