Receiving Specialist Full Time
About the role
The Receiving Specialist at Ollie’s plays a crucial part in ensuring that merchandise moves efficiently from delivery to the sales floor. This position involves assisting with receiving, processing, and moving products, as well as supporting store operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
- Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
- Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
- Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player, interacting well with customers and associates.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently, and stand for extended periods.
