Receiving Specialist Full Time
About the role
The Receiving Specialist at Ollie’s plays a crucial part in ensuring that merchandise moves efficiently from delivery to the sales floor. This position involves assisting with receiving, processing, and moving freight, as well as merchandising and maintaining an organized receiving area.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the receiving process and move freight from the truck to the sales floor.
- Support in pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
- Train new Associates and communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
- Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player, interacting well with both customers and associates.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently, and stand for extended periods.
