Receiving Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and manage daily and weekly operational reports.
  • Affordably address and document all safety issues.
  • Aid in safety training and start-up meetings.
  • Perform random safety walks, identifying and addressing hazards.
  • Maintain and track shipments for timely and accurate delivery.
  • Participate in direct labor tasks when administrative duties are completed.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Support new hire training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of previous experience preferred.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Must possess a mechanical aptitude and ability to use a variety of hand tools.
  • Must be forklift certified.
