Receiving Clerk

Job Description

Responsible for the receipt, repackaging, picking & packing of products in order to assure a correct storage and correct shipment according to the high quality standards.

• Must be sufficiently knowledgeable about the products, packaging methods, shipping methods and picking process.
• Must be capable to handle special shipments and complex matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to accurately match part numbers.
• Basic proficiency in using the Internet and/or computer systems to locate information.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing and walking.
• Repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead.
• Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur.
• Lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally.
• Team lifting or material handling equipment is required for items over 50 pounds.
