About the role

Hotel Jerome has been the social hub of Aspen since its opening in 1889 at the height of the town’s silver boom, known as the place where all great stories were born and are told. As the only Aspen hotel to survive the silver crash, the long pre-ski-resort winters, and the Depression, we’ve seen cowboys ride through our doors, 10th Mountain Division soldiers gather round over pints after training on the slopes, and Hunter S. Thompson holding court during his run for sheriff. You can’t experience Aspen, without experiencing Jerome.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient receiving and coordination of all hotel products, including but not limited to food, beverage, and general supplies.
• Ensure that all received products adhere to the specified hotel product standards, and take corrective measures if any discrepancies are identified.
• Generate daily receiving sheets for food, beverage, and general products, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming items.
• Collaborate with various departments to communicate any changes or issues related to received products, fostering a seamless flow of information.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors to facilitate effective communication and resolve any delivery-related concerns.
• Assist in maintaining organized and efficient inventory storage, implementing best practices to optimize space and minimize waste.
• Adhere to all relevant safety, health, and sanitation guidelines while handling and storing products.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets and Google suite
• Prior experience working in warehouse environment

Pay

The targeted compensation wage for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $23.00‑$25.00/hr.
