Receiving Clerk

About the role

At Great Wolf, the Receiving Clerk has an eye for detail and ensures accurate delivery against orders, checks to ensure quality standards of products, and participates in the inventory process.

Responsibilities

• Protect merchandise and the resort from shrinkage.
• Receive resort shipments for all departments except Food & Beverage, including UPS, Fed‑Ex, and vendor trucks; also ship out all packages.
• Record deliveries, verify product delivery, distribute paperwork to appropriate departments, and move product to designated areas.
• Update the Dataworks system with all receiving details.
• Maintain retail stockrooms by placing merchandise on shelves and removing cardboard.
• Ensure all merchandise is tagged with UPC labels.
• Maintain a safe facility and work environment in compliance with ergonomics, emergency response, injury and illness prevention, and hazard communications programs.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.

Desired Qualifications & Traits

• Previous receiving experience.
• Previous experience with inventory counts.
• Strong basic mathematics skills.
• Enthusiastic and energetic demeanor.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Ability to push or pull 100 lb.
• Ability to bend, stretch, and twist.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Pay

Base salary: $21 per hour. The employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and other business needs.
