What You’ll Do
- Unpack, examine, and route all incoming shipments.
- Identify and reject damaged items; work with shippers and buyers to resolve damages and shortages.
- Receive and process defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
- Use the ERP system to input transactions, including issue, adjust, transfer, and scrap.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for all material movements.
- Support production with timely responses to parts requests.
- Cook up the work of inventory control clerks and assist with daily cycle counts.
- Perform material handling duties using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- A high school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of logistics or warehouse experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Typing proficiency (10-key).
- APICS inventory training is a plus.
