Receiving Clerk - #51 San Diego

About the role

The El Super #51 Starting Rate is $17.75 per hour. This position is open to those who can provide excellent Customer Service, love their Community, and love Food.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire operation of the receiving department for the store under direct supervision of the Store Director.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling.
• Handle visual and auditory requirements typical of a fast-paced grocery store environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively communicate with customers, clients, and other employees in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
