Receiving Clerk - 011 Houston-Airline/I-45

About the role

The Receiving Clerk at the 011 Houston-Airline/I-45 store is responsible for the entire operation of the receiving department for the store. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate
