Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

Responsibilities

  • Provides friendly and outgoing customer service to Residents.
  • Acts as a key employee liaison between guests and Residents.
  • Familiarizes with using computer software to perform various tasks.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong communication.
  • Receives incoming packages and enters information on packing slips into resident software.
  • Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
  • Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
  • Delivers packages to Front Desk at times, and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
  • Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents.
  • Maintains department database, prepares routine reports, and files shipping/receiving records.
  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety.
  • Receives and logs contractors into the system and contractor log whom will perform work or deliver items to the units.
  • Provides contractor badge along with photo to identify the individual while working inside the building.
  • Maintains communication with Front Desk when a contractor has arrived and advises which unit they will need access for.
  • Communicates with Management Office each time a contractor arrives with building materials or furniture deliveries to ensure they have provided the required elevator deposit.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • Sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less
  • Manual dexterity
  • Auditory and visual skills
  • The ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures

Position Type

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. This schedule will be determined by the property and may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.

Required Education And Experience

  • Prior experience in a related position
  • Six months to one year in related experience and/or training
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus
  • Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 30 lbs.
