Job Overview
This position assumes responsibility for supervising the receiving area and freight elevator; maintains area safety, orderliness and cleanliness; verifies licenses, insurances, and permits of all service providers and contractors through the management office; enforces parking regulations; enforces rules and regulations of the Association. Good communication and customer service skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that the receiving area office is never left unattended/unlocked.
- Never permits the receiving area to be blocked.
- Schedules freight elevator for residents moving in and out advance adhering to Association Policy.
- Registers all delivers and packages (i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, registered mail).
- Reports all problems to the supervisor, including problems outside of scope of responsibility.
- Issues parking passes to all approved vehicles.
- Registers and distributes ID passes to all contractors.
- Maintains logs of the coming and going of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors.
- Completes required reports.
- Requisitions materials, tools, and supplies needed for the job.
- Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
- Maintains a safe work area.
- Other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalency is preferred.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time; be able to reach overhead; have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
- Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions.
- Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on extension ladders).
- Be able to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).
