Receiving Associate
Job Details
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our fast-paced team.
In this role, you will:
- Review customer orders and accurately enter them into our shipping system
- Ensure each shipment is prepared, processed, and delivered on time
- Work closely with our sales team, providing daily updates on order status to help keep our clients informed and satisfied
Job Requirements
- Verify incoming materials and parts against consignment or purchase records to ensure accuracy
- Inspect packages for damage, safely move items to designated internal workstations for metal finishing, and keep accurate digital records
- Check incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and supplier certificates to verify part numbers, quantities, and condition
- Accurately enter receiving data, generate barcodes, and track items in software systems
- Track outgoing shipments and resolve delivery issues when needed
- Maintain daily communication with the sales team regarding order status and completion updates
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- 2+ years of shipping or logistics experience (preferred)
- Bilingual: Spanish (preferred)
