About the role
JD Machine Corporation of Ogden, UT is seeking a full-time Receiving Associate. Responsibilities
- Unloading trucks and moving product using forklift, pallet jack and dolly
- Counting product received
- Scanning and saving paperwork
- Un-packaging products and verifying against PO requirements
- Use M1 brand ERP software to document receipt transactions
- Moving materials and products to correct locations throughout the shop
- Using calipers and measuring tape with different units of measure to verify product
- Working and communicating with Purchasing, AP, Production, Sales, Quality and other teams
- Housekeeping of area and 5S
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer & mathematical skills (Sending emails)
- Measuring experience preferred (tape measure, calipers)
- Previous experience with ERP system preferred
- Previous receiving experience preferred
- Inventory experience a plus
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 40 lbs unassisted
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check

Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. You get a 30 minute paid lunch and flexible overtime when needed!
