Receiving Associate

Responsibilities

• Performs system-related tasks such as generating cycle counts, data input, reconciliation, and communicating/coordinating investigations regarding discrepancies.
• Performs item maintenance changes in PRMS/SAP.
• Conducts daily audits and system updates relating to inventory integrity.
• Handles receiving-related tasks for all products received.
• Reads and routes correspondence relating to operations and distribution.
• Communicates effectively through routine correspondence and maintains, revises, and updates data systems using Excel, Word, Outlook, and PRMS/SAP.
• Follows safety requirements for the production and warehouse facility, including job-specific PPE, safety training, and adherence to safety rules.
• Participates in process improvement activities, housekeeping, and 5S within assigned areas or the facility.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 years of forklift experience.
• 1 year of transportation, shipping/receiving, or warehousing experience.
• High school diploma or higher; or a combination of relevant education and experience.

Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Proficient with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
• Ability to foster trusting relationships, teamwork, and cross-collaboration.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Office and manufacturing environment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods and walk long distances.
• Works long hours.

Work Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to manufacturing equipment, machinery, forklifts, and pallets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme hot and cold weather conditions. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in all areas of the production plant.
