Receiving and Shipping

Core Responsibilities

• Receive and unload inbound trucks in a safe and timely manner.
• Verify deliveries against shipping documents and report discrepancies as needed.
• Unload tankers including, but not limited to, cream yeast, oil, and high fructose corn syrup, following all safety and procedural guidelines.
• Take accurate inventory counts of materials, ingredients, and supplies.
• Maintain and update inventory spreadsheets and tracking systems.
• Assist with cycle counts and scheduled inventory audits as assigned.
• Ensure inventory levels are accurately documented and communicated when issues arise.
• Rotate ingredient stock in a manner that complies with FIFO (First In First Out).
• Track trailers and their contents, including locations and status.
• Perform trailer inspections in accordance with company and safety requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate trailer inspection reports and related paperwork.
• Ensure all trailer documentation is properly organized and submitted as required.
• Communicate trailer status updates or concerns to management and relevant departments.
• Fulfill depot and internal material requests accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure materials are labeled, stored properly, and easily accessible.
• Maintain organization of the bay area and surrounding workspaces.
• Keep receiving, staging, and storage areas clean and free of hazards.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and company standards at all times.
• Send, receive, and respond to work-related emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate clearly with managers, drivers, production staff, and other team members.
• Provide general support to managers as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Additional Duties

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Support operational needs as assigned by management.
