About the Role

Healthy Living is looking for a Receiving and Facilities Manager to ensure the efficient and smooth daily operation of physical store systems and the receiving department. This role prioritizes cleanliness, safety, hospitality, and efficiency while overseeing facility functionality, custodial operations, and vendor interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Custodial Management
    • Oversee daily custodial operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
    • Manage custodial vendor(s) performance and communication to meet organizational standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety guidelines.
  • Receiving & Inventory Control
    • Log every driver into the daily receiving log.
    • Safely get product inside the building.
    • Check all refrigerated product for appropriate temperatures and sell-by dates.
    • Verify invoices against actual delivered quantities and purchase orders (PO).
    • Evaluate shipping charges and apply them to deliveries in Catapult as necessary.
    • Ensure verified deliveries are committed to inventory.
    • Deliver items to appropriate departments.
    • Ensure all appropriate items (credits) are picked up by respective drivers.
    • Maintain organization of invoices, packing slips, and other paperwork daily.
  • Staff Leadership / Management
    • Lead, coach, train, motivate, and inspire all department staff.
    • Build a team through mutual trust, respect, and coordination.
    • Act as a positive role model for all staff.
    • Facilitate operational knowledge with educational tools and opportunities.
    • Work with P&E to interview and hire staff.
    • Coordinate training for all new staff members.
    • Create and oversee all staff schedules, ensuring all staff are present for their shifts.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma; certifications or strong educational background in a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years in one or more of the following: facility/building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical repair, landscaping, painting, or other building trades.
    • Previous experience in account/contract supervision, supply ordering, receiving, and leadership (preferably in a management/supervisory role).

Pay

Starting at $27/hour; previous experience will be taken into consideration.

Schedule

Full-time hourly position, 40 hours/week including flexible availability.
