Responsibilities

• Examine product condition upon arrival from various carriers
• Document overages, shorts, damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, evidence of pest infestation or product tampering
• Direct outside carriers and contract unloaders on sorting and segregating product
• Follow and maintain product integrity as per McLane Company standards
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders into computer, and assign doors
• Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed
• Comply with company work and safety rules
• Maintain quality of work to limit mispicks, shorts, and damages
• Follow directions
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Be trained and certified to operate required equipment within 30 days after hire
• Comply with company attendance policy
• Maintain flexible work schedule to meet changing needs of the Distribution Center
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach above the head continuously for up to two hours
• Ability and willingness to select, load, unload, and deliver all products as ordered by customers

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous receiving experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday from 10 PM till complete
