Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Unpack, organize, and properly store all incoming products.
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Drive vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Assist in the dish room as needed, including washing, sanitizing, and putting away dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Support inventory management by assisting with stock counts and product organization.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
• Abide by all Company policies and procedures including:
  • Use of medium-weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
  • Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steam tables.
  • Use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

$16.00 – $17.00 per hour
