Rebate Analyst
About the role
Provide supervision of team to ensure programs, payment and deductions are administered effectively, timely and accurately in accordance with Pactiv guidelines and policy. Mentor team members and provide growth opportunities. Support Management with analysis and reporting, communicate team results and customer compliance. Understand Customer Contract and execute in accordance with Policy / Contract. Establish controls to ensure payments are in accordance with policy. Analyze and process high volume and complex customers. Process transactions and payments to customers timely and accurately. Understand customer contracts and highlight if contract not in accordance with the one face policy. Rebill and collect amounts that are not in accordance with the policy. On a recurring basis report out exceptions/non-compliance and drive compliance by working with sales and Business Unit Finance Manage back log deduction process. Responsible to provide month end accruals and ensure they are in accordance with contract terms and provide details by customer to Business Unit Finance for approval. Update Vistex with all customer rebate programs. Maintain stability of the Vistex system. Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and be cost effective. Convert customers from deduction mode to payment mode. Maintain desk procedures and training documents to train new employees. Research, plan and assist in the implementation of changes. Assist in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting preferred.
- Strong spreadsheet skills required with SAP experience a plus.
- Good communication and team skills.
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize to meet deadlines.
