About the role

Carroll Construction Supply is hiring a Rebar Fabricator to work in the rebar fabrication area using machinery to bend and cut rebar, as well as for general warehouse trades. The position involves operating a shearing and bending machine to cut and bend reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths and shapes. We are an employee-owned company with an honest team across over 35 locations in 14 states.

Responsibilities

• Operate shearing and bending machinery to cut and bend reinforcing steel bars to specified lengths and shapes
• Perform general warehouse and shop assistant tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic; good shop assistant skills
• Background check and drug testing required
• Previous knowledge or experience in the building materials industry is beneficial
• Extremely motivated and upbeat personality
• Driven for success and willing to go the extra mile
• Ability to participate effectively as a team member
• Bilingual is a plus but not required
