Realty Project Coach
About the Role
As a Realty Project Coach, you'll join the Realty Execution team for Walmart US. You will take ownership in delivering store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US. Your responsibility will be to ensure projects are done on time, within budget, and meet top-notch quality standards. You'll partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep everything on track. This role requires frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home, with an expectation to be away 80% of the time (17-21 days at a time). Travel areas depend on project workload and business needs, and you will be based out of a home store but may travel to surrounding states or farther. Mileage will be reimbursed, and overnight stays will be paid.
Responsibilities
- Influence and motivate your team to meet project timelines and deliverables, fostering collaboration and teamwork among associates.
- Resolve concerns from store leadership, suppliers, and associates to reinforce teamwork.
- Own the execution of projects in assigned stores, communicating plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders.
- Minimize impact on store operations by understanding project plans.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for team members, including listening to and acting on their ideas, suggestions, questions, or concerns.
- Evaluate talent, train and mentor associates, provide recognition, and identify career paths.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area OR 3 years of experience in the same fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
- Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work primarily overnight shifts, averaging 10 to 12 hours.
- Willingness to travel frequently (80% of the time) and stay away from home for 17-21 days at a time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $110,000. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock for certain positions.
