About the Role
As a Realty Project Coach on Walmart US’s Realty Execution team, you will own the delivery of store and club remodels, new-store builds, and special projects across the United States. Your focus will be on ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Walmart’s quality standards. You will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly associates, resolve escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep projects on track. The role requires frequent travel within a 1,000-mile radius of your home store, with overnight stays reimbursed and paid.
Responsibilities
- Motivate and influence project teams to meet timelines and deliverables.
- Encourage collaboration and resolve concerns among store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
- Own project execution in assigned stores, communicating plans, changes, and obstacles to stakeholders.
- Minimize disruptions to store operations while executing project plans.
- Supervise, develop, and mentor associates by evaluating talent, providing training, and identifying career paths.
- Spend time listening to and acting on associate ideas, suggestions, questions, or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, mission, values, and ethics.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, or data analysis or 3 years of experience in the same areas.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, or store design.
- Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time (17–21 days at a time) within a 1,000-mile radius of your home store.
- Willingness to work primarily overnight shifts averaging 10–12 hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000–$110,000, with additional performance-based bonus awards. Compensation may also include stock for certain positions.

Schedule
