Boutique law firm seeks talented Real Estate Attorney

About the role

A boutique law firm with a sophisticated commercial real estate and business transactional practice is looking for a full-time real estate attorney with 2-6 years of experience in a real estate transactional practice. The ideal candidate must have significant experience in the area of commercial real estate law, outstanding drafting skills, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. They should be reliable, responsible, motivated, friendly, and able to thrive in a small firm environment. The ability to work well with and support others is key.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines
• Draft and negotiate real estate transaction documents
• Show strong expertise in real estate law, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development
• Show exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California
• 2-6 years of experience as a real estate transactional attorney, with a focus on representing sophisticated real estate investors and developers
• At least two years of experience at a larger, national, or regional law firm

• Annual billable hours goal is 1,750
• Production bonus program pays an annual bonus of 5% of salary base at 1,800 billable hours, plus an additional bonus of 40% of billing rate for each billable hour above 1,800 billable hours

Salary

$170,000 - $220,000 per year
