This role is for a sharp, motivated legal assistant who wants a dedicated role supporting a single attorney in a busy workers' compensation practice.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of legal assistant or medical claims experience
- Comfortable on the phone with clients, adjusters, and medical providers
- Able to work fully on-site in Nashua, NH 5 days a week
- Direct workers' compensation experience preferred — but a strong medical claims background is also considered
- Demonstrated job tenure — longevity in previous roles matters here
Responsibilities
- Manage workers' compensation case files from opening through resolution
- Communicate directly with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
- Organize and prepare medical evidence for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, and routine legal documents
- Serve as the primary support person for one dedicated workers' comp attorney
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a legal assistant or in medical claims adjusting
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal communication
- Proven ability to manage a fast-paced, deadline-driven workload
Pay
$54K – $60K + Year-End Bonus
Schedule
Full-time, on-site in Nashua, NH — 5 days per week
