Real Estate Senior Tax Manager
About the role
Real Estate Senior Tax Managers possess a strong technical knowledge in partnership taxation and concepts specific to real estate companies. They participate in tax return reviews, identify client issues, communicate with clients and financial managers, and supervise Associates and Senior Associates.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service preferred (e.g., CPA or MST advanced credential)
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including partnership tax experience - Understanding of Subchapter K and/or partnership allocations
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient use of technology including MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or secondary degree
- GoSystems and ProSystems experience
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: For individuals hired to work in Los Angeles, the expected salary range for this role is $165,000 to $236,900. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.
