Real Estate Resale Precloser

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate with agents, lenders, buyers and sellers throughout closing transactions from receipt of contract through closing
• Cook up coordination with parties and vendors during transaction to close in accordance with contract dates and related due dates set by lender
• Receive contracts and direct files opened with appropriate client team
• Order title examination and municipal lien searches (if applicable)
• Confirms Contact information of all parties of the transaction is correct in Firm software
• Follows and completes each assigned Firm task to accurately prepare the file for closing
• Communicates with the buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders to request specified documents related to contract, title, and any financing
• Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents received for closing
• Works closely with the Attorneys on title clearance issues prior to closing
• Orders payoffs and estoppel letters with good through dates past the settlement closing date
• Ensures accuracy of title commitment and submits the commitment to lenders
• Clocks in for closing appointment(s) with parties to transaction
• Answers questions regarding closing process requirements
• Generates Firm documents prior to closing for buyers and sellers to facilitate completion of closing files
• Other tasks as directed by manager or managing attorney
