About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the Real Estate department in our Minneapolis, MN office. This position offers a hybrid work-location schedule, allowing employees to work from both the office and home.

Responsibilities

  • Review title and survey for sale and purchase transactions, as well as financing transactions.
  • Prepare documents to cure title defects.
  • Prepare drafts of various real estate documents, such as leases, purchase agreements, easement agreements, and various other real estate documents.
  • Manage and close real estate sale and purchase transactions and financing transactions.
  • Interface with title companies, negotiating terms as necessary.
  • Draft conveyance documents and related real estate documents.
  • Manage due diligence for sale, purchase, and financing transactions.
  • Prepare mechanic’s lien statements and handle various types of Torrens proceedings.

Requirements

  • At least five years of real estate paralegal experience; outstanding candidates with less experience will be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse and busy workload.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A solid understanding of real estate law and core real estate documents and concepts, and experience with title reviews, due diligence, and closings.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

The salary range for this position varies by geographic market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $67,000 - $98,700/year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate’s experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
