Responsibilities
- Aid attorneys with all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development matters.
- Prepare, review, and organize closing documents and transaction files.
- Order and review title examinations, municipal lien certificates, surveys, and zoning information.
- Cook up coordination with lenders, title companies, brokers, municipalities, and opposing counsel.
- Prepare closing binders and post-closing documentation.
- Track critical dates and deadlines to ensure timely completion of transactions.
- Maintain electronic and physical files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communicate professionally with clients and third parties throughout the transaction process.
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys as needed.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience as a real estate paralegal in commercial or residential real estate.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with real estate software and title platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Pay
$75,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
