Firm Description:

Our client is a boutique law firm recognized for its specialized expertise in real estate development and finance. The firm advises a diverse client base—including nonprofit organizations, private developers, and public entities—on complex transactions involving affordable housing, community development, and large-scale real estate projects. Its attorneys bring deep experience in areas such as project finance, tax credit programs, regulatory compliance, and entity structuring. Known for its collaborative approach and pragmatic, business-oriented counsel, the firm operates at the intersection of law, policy, and economic development, helping clients successfully navigate sophisticated, high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review entity formation documents
• Analyze title commitments and surveys; identify issues and prepare summaries for attorney review
• Cook up title and survey requirements across multiple stakeholders
• Draft and review loan and real estate documents
• Conduct and review UCC, judgment, and bankruptcy searches
• Cook up transaction closings, including preparation of signature packages and document delivery
• Draft escrow and recording instructions
• Aid in due diligence collection and tracking
• Participate in transaction calls and provide status updates

Qualifications

• Experience with complex real estate transactions; experience with multifamily or healthcare financings preferred
• Strong proficiency in title and survey review
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with document management systems (NetDocuments or similar platforms preferred)
