About the Role
BBK seeks an attorney with a strong interest in public sector and commercial real estate work to join a team handling a wide range of real estate litigation matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact real estate and property-related cases while collaborating with attorneys across the firm’s public agency and real estate practice groups.
Responsibilities
- Represent public agencies, private property owners, or businesses in disputes involving real property rights and interests
- Handle matters including:
- Breach of lease and rent disputes
- Unlawful detainer (UD) actions
- Easement and boundary disputes
- Quiet title actions
- Title insurance and foreclosure-related litigation
- Premises liability and habitability claims involving property owners and management companies
- Matters overlapping with public agency litigation, such as dangerous condition of public property claims requiring analysis of ownership and easement interests
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of real estate litigation experience
- Admitted to practice in California
Pay
The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $137,000 - $195,000 for an associate with 5 or more years of experience. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.
