Role Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate land control instruments including deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements for term, exclusivity, and conveyance terms.
- Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues across site control documentation packages.
- Organize and structure findings into clear, standardized formats suitable for senior legal review.
- Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents.
- Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.
Requirements
- Strong relevant experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience reviewing land control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights of way.
- A strong ability to assess term, exclusivity, and conveyance language in legal documents.
- A high attention to detail with the ability to organize findings in structured, standardized formats.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.
