About the role

The position is for our Philadelphia office. Applicants should have experience representing sellers and buyers, landlords and tenants, and borrowers in acquisition, sale, lease and construction and permanent finance transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Represent sellers and buyers, landlords and tenants, and borrowers in acquisition, sale, lease and construction and permanent finance transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on complex commercial transactions.
  • Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage client relationships and provide ongoing legal support.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal strategies and decisions.
  • Participate in meetings and negotiations with clients and opposing parties.
  • Stay current with legal developments and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. or equivalent degree from a well-respected U.S. law school.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and self-starting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond productively to direction and feedback and to work well with staff and leadership.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, manage workflow priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A team player – be collaborative and work with a spirit of camaraderie.
  • Outstanding attention to accuracy and detail, and commitment to work product that is thorough, complete and excellent.

Qualifications

  • Admitted to PA Bar or will take Bar exam promptly after starting.
