Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial real estate litigation matters
• Handle commercial landlord-tenant disputes
• Support commercial foreclosure litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions and substantive legal memoranda
• Manage discovery and e-discovery processes
• Attend hearings and support courtroom proceedings
• Work closely with clients and senior attorneys on litigation strategy

Who You Are

• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Experience with motion practice, discovery and courtroom proceedings
• Background in commercial landlord-tenant litigation
• Commercial foreclosure litigation experience or willingness to learn
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills
• Familiarity with New York citation formatting
• Strong academic credentials
• Experience at a large regional, national or international law firm preferred
• Self-motivated, organised and collaborative

Compensation

Salary Range: $310,000 – $390,000 (DOE)
