Real Estate Banking Associate- Homebuilder Finance

About the role

The Real Estate Banking Associate position at Regions involves designing, originating, structuring, and executing products and services for both existing and prospective clients. This role also includes assisting in the cultivation of client relationships, conducting research, and participating in strategic and tactical planning.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior bankers in their relationship responsibilities, including idea generation and interaction with current and prospective clients
• Maintains proprietary databases through monitoring news, current events, transactions, and financial information for clients, prospects, and other industry participants
• Understands client needs and identifies Regions products and services, or other unique, actionable ideas that can help clients achieve their goals
• Develops and maintains detailed financial models to value companies and depict projected financial results
• Ensures high quality of client deliverables by having strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Aids in the preparation of written material, including pitches, proposals, client materials, and associated supporting analyses
• Conducts extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction
• Assists in the recruitment, development, training, and oversight of junior resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with a proven record of high achievement
• Three (3) years of relevant work experience in real estate banking
• Formal credit training

Skills and Competencies

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
• Energetic and creative self-starter with a willingness to take on and successfully manage significant and multiple responsibilities
• Strong sense of personal accountability with a results orientation as part of a collaborative team environment

Pay and Benefits

The position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance in the job role can impact pay. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Minimum Job Range Target: $73,994.50 USD Median $105,126.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
